Earning money with a blog

You could use a url shortner site to display ads when people click on links on your blog. It's not fast money by any means, but if you are getting decent click outs, it'll add up.

I just created my blog 4 days ago. And since then I have had around 30 hits, so my traffic is slowly increasing and more people are reading everything I put on my blog. I don't know what you blog about but my blog is for the purpose of informing people of which PTC, PTP, GPT sites are legitimate and which they will make the best money from. I do not use adsense but if you do now or have ever had any experience with any of the types of sites I recently mentioned, I would say that you add an extra page to your blog titled "earn some extra money" or something like that. Then post referral banners from some of the sites with information on how to earn or how much they can earn from them. This will bring the blog more hits and generate a different type of revenue for you. So when the extra traffic comes your earnings from adsense will most-likely be accelerated and you have yourself some extra cash. So far I have gotten around 8 all together for my sites and that brings in more money for me.:-)

Almost any company, or any organization has a blog in today's world. The use of blogs to get their message out is a huge boost to their profits. Some hire bloggers to run these sites for them. If you can run a good blog, you may consider applying to a company for running one for them.

(4). Blog Networks
Most any blogger can pick up extra work writing for other blogs. Bloggers are in constant need of content that will draw people to their site and interest them in what the theme of the blog is about. Sometimes these can lead to long-term work, netting a good profit for you.

(5). Products
You can hardly visit a blog today without seeing products for sale pertaining to the theme of the blog. You can sell products through your own website or through Cafe' Press. If your blog brings in a lot of traffic, then you should be getting lots of sales.........

I have no ideal. Almost all legit sites on the net are slow to accumulate enough money for a payout.
Some, like mytowne, folding while owing their members a lot of money. I was owed over $500 USD.
You would have to spend more time writing online than what a full time job would call for.

Well adsense is definitely a good way to start. You can also join other sites that are like adsense like bidvertise or adbrite. You can also sign up for various affiliate programs then you can put banners in your site. You can also join a variety of paid to post or paid to review sites where in you can review sites and place these reviews on your site.

I just started really trying to get my site out there, it's all banners though but i think it's pretty good, hey i've seen worse. I was thinking about puting ads on there but i'm not sure if that would violate any terms since i've been putting it in many traffic exchanges so right now i'm just hopeing to get some referrals from it. check it out and tell my what you think. it's on my profile. thanks for your time and hope you can make some cash from your blog:)

Well, from my research the average CTR rate is about 1-8% If you're really good sometimes pushing over 15% but it's a very unlikely scenario. Adsense is really only good if you get super direct traffic and lot's of it. I've gotten lucky a few times though and made a good bit from very little traffic. It really depends. I think the biggest problem is your SEO relevence. Most AD clickers seem to be those surfing that of google, not people you personally bring in. On occasion it could be the case but from my experience in the past and present most of my AD clicks come from google surfers finding me. Your blog title is very important in SEO and the title "tweeded" although it's neat sounding doesn't help you too much when you want google traffic to find you. Have you added metatags and a metadescription? I can help you out a bit further through PM's to try to bring in some google traffic if you want me to & to come up with some good metatags and a good meta description.

Shareapic is a good website to be using if you don't already. Also, if you get enough traffic selling advertising space can help bring in some decent cash as well.
