In 8 days I have to do a combined birthday party for my children. I didnt realize how fast the time was creeping up on me or I would have checked online more to see if there was any party favors or themed things that I could buy. Their birthday party is July 19th and I have NOTHING done. The theme for the birthday party is going to be Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. I want to make a banner that says NEVER LAND and paint posters of the characters. I don't have much time to do this so I know I need to start working on it later tonight. The never land banner will be really fast and easy but painting the characters will be more time consuming. I wish I hadent procrastinated so badly. I also have to make a pinata and paint Peter Pan on one side and tinkerbell on the other. Has anyone ever done a peter pan and tinkerbell themed birthday party before? What kind of things did you make to go with the theme or did you just buy the party decorations and everything instead of making anything. Anyone have any good ideas of what I can make to go with the theme of this birthday party. I don't have a lot of cash to spend on the decorations.

I hope my discussion doesnt get deleted because I don't think putting links up is allowed. Anyway I checked out the first site and got two cute ideas! One is to create an area for a hide out for the lost boys and girls. I have a spot that would be perfect under our back porch that I could make a sign for and the kids could play under there. I could nail up a curtain to make it more secluded feling. Another cute idea on there is to create a place to make the kidswalk the plank. My daughter has a little pretend balance beam for playing gymnastics that we could use for this. Since its a boy and girl party though I think I will ask my husband if he has any spare 2 x 4's that I could use. Actually a cute idea to would be to get a small plastic wading pool for the very little ones and find some crocodiles to put in the water. That would be great for the theme but I don't know if on this short of notice if I can find any crocodiles that are tub toys.

my apologies if it does get deleted but, as far as I'm aware, the rules dont permit links to affiliate programs or to other sites for commercial purposes - so these links are within the guidelines. If I'm wrong, I hope someone will point that out for me.
You could play "pin the tail on the crocodile" or a version of 'ducks & drakes' with Hook and the crocodile. Maybe you could get your hands on some little drawstring bags to put a few chocolate 'gold coins' in.
