I have some college books that I don't need any more because I am done with those courses. I was thinking about selling them on EBAY. I was just wondering if any one here had any tips for me? It would help me out a lot!

I think EBAY is already the best way to sell college books. =) Maybe you should try another similar websites other than EBAY, but as far as I heard EBAY is the best one. OR, why don't you try to go to the nearest bookstore to sell the books directly in the counter. My cousin has done that once.

For me I always use Amazon because the item stays up there and also you can change the prices when need be in case other people price lower than you. For me I always go about 2-3 cents lower than the lowest used price already up.
Now if the books are older you probably aren't going to get anything for them since every couple of years new editions come out and teachers rarely use old editions. Good luck!

Our kids sold their college books back to the bookstore where they were bought. Sure didn't get much for them. You can try to post your books for sale on www.craigslist.com also and see if that works. You won't have to pay any shipping charges by using craigslist since you can list the books in your area. Is there a bulletin board at school where you can list them?

I don't have experience with selling on eBay. I usually either keep mine or sell them to my peers. I usually post the books for sale on my school's news forum site. I usually look up sale prices on half.com and Amazon before deciding on a selling price range.
