| |  Me too! I am fan of Shirley Temple. First movie that I've is the little princess.The First movie of Shirley that made me cry is Bright Eyes. The Curly Top is a funny movie. She immitate the old guy.She let her horse spanky to sleep in the the bed. I like her song there. When I grow up... In a year or two or three!!!!

| | Glad to see another Shirley Temple fan! I've been computerless since the last part of August, so I'm just catching up. I got to watch several Shirley Temple movies when they were on around Christmas. One of these days, I hope to have ALL of her movies on DVDs!!!
Bright Eyes probably was the saddest because of little Shirley not only losing her mother but, also, losing her on Christmas. I loved the way her godfather broke the news to her. | | | |

I took a picture of my goddaughter when she was three months old sitting in the bathroom sink, which I'd turned into a miniature bathtub for her. She was so cute! She told me that, when she got to be in her early teens, she hated that picture.

It's been a little while since I watched this, but I seem to recall that the person who reported her as a school truant had a hidden agenda.
She had a crush on the lighthouse keeper and was hoping that he might want to marry her and make his home a two-parent home for Shirley--which would have been acceptable where, in the eyes of social services, the single man taking care of a little girl wasn't. | | | |
