unclaimed money

I just found money under my fathers name in Florida!! He has been deceased about 20 years!
I went to unclaimedmoney dot org and found it there. My friend just found 67 dollars from a state tax refund check that got returned. I have now spent over 2 hours searching everyone's name that I know. This rocks!
Has anyone else found any money they did not know about? How quickly did you get it?

Wow...That's one cool site. But was your friend able to claim the money there? How did she do it sonsidering the money is someone elses name.?

Oh TrvlArrngr, this is great news. :-) Congrats to you with locating that money. :-) I am quite sure it was a joyous surprise to you, especially since the we have been hit world wide by this recession. :-) Again, congrats to your new earnings, and may many more of your friends have money coming to them as well! :-)

I have found unclaimed money for my Dad (but never claimed it cause I have to deal w/ my half sisters), My Mom (she's in a nursing home & they'd just take it so we agreed to leave it til she passes to pay for her final expenses), My Aunt & Hubby's Cousin.
I think it took a few weeks to get.

I found some money yesterday! Several years ago I submitted a bunch of my photographs to various microstock websites on the internet. The sites I earned the most from, I regularly submit to and cash out my earnings. But I completely ignored the sites that weren't earning me very much. Well, I'm currently planning a pretty big vacation, so I'm trying to come up with as much money as I can. So I figured I should check those microstock websites I haven't logged into in a few years. I'd earned around $100 on those sites! So I cashed out my earnings! It's exciting to find money you didn't know about!
