This is a shot of one of my celebrity tomato plant. I have maybe 20 tomatoes formed and they are starting to ripen finally. It has not been very sunny and very little rain so they are slow growing this year. How are your tomatoes doing this year? I've eaten a lot of our Olive Grape tomatoes already and have lots more of them ready to eat as well.
eating it? I like mine steamed with some butter added.

I've never put butter on tomatoes. I did go to the grocery store this morning and buy some cherry tomatoes. I'm looking forward to eating some of those for dinner. Tomatoes and some nice squash that I also bought this morning. I plan to boil the squash. Yeah, I like it friend, but it's not as healthy for me.

That was a mistake from copying and pasting about steaming them. Does not sound good to me though.
Sorry all.

Our tomatoes just keep growing and growing but not ripening. I have had two tiny yellow pear tomatoes ripen, and that is all. When they do ripen up it will be glorious. I have lots of tomatoes as big as raquet balls and tennis balls. I just enjoy them fresh with salt.

Tomatoes are my favorite. Mine are turning red. I picked eight tomatoes so far and have a bunch more to pick, but have to wait a few day untill they get a little more ripe. I just like my tomatoes with salt and pepper. I also like them in salads, and on Bacon & Lettuce sandwichs.

I like my tomatoes fresh off the vine, with a little salt.

I usually fet mine from the farmers market. Nothing like a cold tomato cut into 4 large sections a little salt and boom summer treat. I also like a tomato mozzarella salad. Some balsamic dressing and you are set.

My tomato plants started out good this year and we got a few ripe tomatoes pretty early. We have been waiting ever since then for more ripe ones. We have green ones and lots of blooms but that is about it. I picked a partial ripe one to ripen the rest of the way in the window sill.

Afraid I don't have any tomatos this year. Was going to try one in a pot on the front porch but never got around to getting a pot, soil, and plant. Maybe next year. Am going to make a trip to the local farmers market this coming weekend to see what 'deals' I can get. I need some fresh veggies and fruit without the chemical junk from the store.

hi GRANDPA BOB,
I have never tried it with butter, must have a try, I normally eat my tomatos with a little salt.
