do you throw your trash in the garbage or just let it fall to the ground?

My husband and i just got back from the beach. I can't belive how many people expect others to clean up after them!! I see an empty cigarette package 2 steps away from the garbage can! I picked it up and threw it away, but why should I have to clean up after a thoughtless person? The really sad thing is finding things floating in the water! Our fish and birds just can't live this way! Why do we not protect them rather then try to kill them? I just don't understand these things!

yes some people are so thoughtless, I used to love walking down the beach picking up rubbish especially broken glass, I used to come away with a plastic bag full, some people are just so lazy and unthinking.

my rubbish goes in the bin, the recycling or the compost bin. NEVER on the ground. people who litter are raping their own mother.
