My pregnant belly is expanding

I am now 29 weeks pregnant and I have started gaining a bit more weight. My clothes are now getting tighter and most of the time if I am at home I lounge around in comfortable stretchy jammy type pants and tshirts. Honestly this pregnancy has been really easy for me though. Very little morning sickness and not too much back pain has been associated with it. I am a bit older and wiser now and my life has slowed down quite a bit so that I am actually enjoying going through this process. So far the biggest problem has been the swelling of my feet and ankles as well as trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in at night. My due date is September 29th and my baby boy is growing by leaps and bounds now. My fiance is bragging saying that the baby will weigh at least ten pounds. I am kinda hoping that is just wishful thinking on his part though. I just want him to be healthy. We are very content to talk to the little guy and tell him stories and how much we love him. This time around I am enjoying the process. Did you or are you enjoying your pregnancy?

oh congratulations so glad for you. that sounds wonderful. i had 5. first four was easy. the last one was very hard. i was 32yrs and i dont know if it was that or because the dad was driving me up the wall also. it was very hard. dont have to worry about any of it now tho. they are all grown. actually i do wish they were small again. it was easier to get them to listen and help them.

LOL! I know what you mean. My older children are all teenagers. I got married very young the first time around and also had children very young. My oldest son will be 20 on the 29th of this month. My middle son is 18 and my youngest son is 15. So I am getting remarried and basically starting all over again. Most people think I need my head screwed back on right. I am enjoying this pregnancy though and I feel as if I am more mature and able to handle it much better. Good luck with getting the grown ones to listen to you!

My baby girl was born two weeks ago. I enjoyed my pregnancy although I did have some discomfort in the later months of it. In the early weeks I felt a bit sickly and tired. I felt fine in the middle part of my pregnancy and went to a vacation to South Africa. It was so exciting to have ultrasound scans and find out my baby was a girl. I talked to her and said how I was looking forward to meeting her. In the last couple of months of my pregnancy my maternity clothes felt tight and uncomfortable. My feet swelled. I slept on my left side and felt uncomfortable. My due date was 25th June and my little girl arrived two days late. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Congratulations on the birth of your darling daughter. I know you must be such a proud mommy. Babies are so amazing and the feeling that you get being a mother is wonderful! It is worth any and all discomfort!
