A co - worker of mine got injury the other day from work. She broke a small bottle of liquid; and a couple of broken piece of glass got stuck in her finger. She went to see the family doctor right after work. The doctor sent her to x- ray her finger yesterday. When she arrived the x - ray building, the technician told her there is no way they can see the broke piece of glass from the x - ray, due to the reflection matter or something like that. So, what is the reason to have her finger x- rayed? She should go back to her doctor, and ask her this question; and the doctor should pay for her x - ray fee. Don't you agree? The doctor should have this kind of experience and know what she is doing. The insurance won't cover it, and it just waste of time if you can see that piece of broken piece through x - ray.
So, do you think those doctor are aim for making the money? or just a plain mistake?

It could have been a mistake, but it could also be that the docter wanted the x-ray taken to check on possible other injuries. I am not sure what the docter told her the x-ray was for, but this could also be a miscommunication. These happen all the time. If the docter is aiming to make money, she could come up with a lot of other things aswell. Why x-rays? I guess there are more logically ways to make money of people if the doctor would really want to, but I personally try to keep faith in people and not think the worst untill everything is sorted out.

I think that this is not right that you wanted to bother a busy and important person like a doctor about such a little thing. The doctor is generally a very busy man because he has to see lots of sick people who also could give him an illness. So you should always attempt first to give home remedy to the glass in foot and only bother the important man when it goes green and nasty. I mean when it gets to infection stage.

Yes I think this doctor is trying to make money off your friend! I also heard there are alot of doctors out there who do surgeries that aren't necessary at all because the patient wants them! No matter what! The doctor's see money in their eyes and will do anything to get it! Not all doctors are like this but they can! This one reason are Health Insurance is so high and out ouf control! It also isn't right!
