Hi All,
As we all go for wedding of our friends, relatives and etc. It is very nice that we show our care towards them by going into their wedding. Now the real problem arise here is that how much or what amount of money should i use to spend for the wedding?

we'll usually alot of couples register at a store and list what they want. but if they didn't do that i think you should spend about 30 dollars on it. and 50 if you know them and your close. but if a friend of a friend 25-30 bucks. because it would be pretty mean if you bought something cheap. i bet you wouldn't want any cheap if its your wedding.

How much you spend on a wedding gift is completely up to you. It's whatever you can afford and want to give.
I just got married last week and our gifts ranged in amount. Some people bought expensive gifts and some were picture frames and such, but all were very appreciated. And as far as the monetary gifts, some people just gave us cards without any money, some people gave us $10 - $25, and some family members that have money gave us $100 - $200. :) We didn't expect any of it, we were happy to have people show up.
So it's really up to you. There are lots of small things that couples need, too. If you're worried about spending too much money, ask what the couple needs or wants and see if you can afford any of that. If you can't give them $10 or whatever towards it!

well i guess it depends on two things. a) how much you can afford and b) how much you like the people that are getting married! for us, we have a lot of weddings to go to because my hubby does the sound for our church, so we usually get them a nice ceramic bowl and the fixings for a spaghetti meal and maybe a coupon for a movie and some popcorn. this usually costs about $25.
