Are laptop computers now more popular than desktops?  

I love laptop than deskstop computer. Laptop have a lot of advantages. It reliable, convenient, wifi or wireless internet communication enabled and i could make various task any places I go. I could carry it with me. It is very small, lightweight and it can compete more to desktop. What desktop can do, it could also be perform by laptop computer, such as scanning, printing, copying disc, slides show, im, chatting, calls and other important criteria which outdo laptop.

I would say desktops will be obsolete in a few years. For one if companies wanted to get more work done without having workers be at the office they could issue out laptops. It would be easier to get things done there would be more productivity and also less space would be needed and money could be saved. Most laptops these days are around 300-700 and desktops can be a lot more than that. With the improving technology and the smaller it is getting the more and more laptops will be preferred since they will probably be or already are way better in performance than desktop models and they can do the same things pretty much.

I am of the belief that from their inception laptops were always better than desktops - now with the recent advances in technology, laptops have become more affordable and their performance rivals and even surpasses that of many standard desktops.

They are portable, a must for me in an active lifestyle, and the popularization of Wi-Fi makes them worth the investment.

Therefore I think laptops are more popular than desktops which will become scarcer and scarcer as time progresses.

Absolutely, I think laptop are more popular than desktops these days. We can carry it anywhere but desktop is not possible. Even in schools and colleges laptop is replacing desktop. In offices people are using laptop. You will not believe but this is true, I have both at my home, previuosly when I didn't have latop I use desktops but now I don't even open it once. Its been 2 years I bought a laptop, I use desktop very rarely. I think very soon desktops gonna vanish.

Are laptop computer now more popular that desktops? I do believe that is the case. Laptops are so convient and portable. I carry my laptop from state to state. I have decided never to own a desktop ever again. Just last week, I got rid of the last desktop in my house. I do believe they, desktops, are on their way out, so one should be able to find a great price for one.
