I am 27 and one thing I want is a child sometime in my life. It hasn't happened for me yet so I am thinking if it doesnt happen for me by the time I'm 30 I will be a foster parent. How does everyone feel about foster parents? Do you think 30 is too young for me to be a foster parent?

I think foster parenting is a wonderful idea. As long as you're financially stable enough to afford to foster a kid and you have the time and energy to put into it, then 30 is a very reasonable age to do such. Just remember that it takes a lot of time and energy. One of my teachers was actually a foster family who ended up adopting most of their foster children. It was really interesting because they had children of all ages and such. Their last daughter that I heard of that they adopted was actually from Ethopia and they taught her English and she taught them her native language, so it was pretty neat. Fostering children can be a wonderful chance for you to help out people in need, too, if you're wanting to help. It'll give you the chance to make a difference in people's lives, as long as you can accept that some foster children can be extremely difficult. :)

I think fostering is a wonderful thing to do at any age, the most wonderful thing a person can give in this live is love, and if there is a child who needs a little love then what more is there to say...every child deserves to be loved and there are so many that are not...
