Started School Shopping Last Night... Great Bargains

Has anyone started school shopping yet?? I know it's early, but I'm a huge bargain shopper... I always look for the seasons close out sales, right before they put the new season stuff out.. So last night, I got started on my son's fall wardrobe... I got 4 polo shirts, two with matching tee shirts, I got 3 pairs of pants, 6 pairs of underwear and 3 undershirts... for $53!!! I think this is great! I also got started on his summer clothes for next year! It's truly amazing how much money you can save if you shop this way... AND, in his closet is clothes that he hasnt worn yet, for school.... Last year when I did this, I obviously had to guess at what size he would be and some fit and some were too big... So, all I need is sneakers! Anyone else doing this yet???

That is a great idea to get a head start this early! Unfortunately I don't have any extra cash right this second or I would do the same thing. I think it is great that you got all of those clothes for only $53.00! Keep up the good work! These days more than ever it is important to save money and hunt out all the bargains. I think I will be starting shopping about 3 weeks. My kids start back to school on August 24th so I still have a little time left. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Good morning! Thanks for responsing... I'm sorry for the long delay in getting back to you.. have been otherwise preoccupied... Wow, your schools start early.... we don't go back until Sept, after Labor Day! You know, a great thing is, that we don't have alot of around here anymore, is Layaway! Only certain stores do this now and still they only do it certain times of the year - like back to school and Xmas... I was always a huge layaway guru! I would always limit the amt to $50/75 each time and I usually could pay it off in a month or so... It's just such a great way to get what you need and not worry about store sell outs and huge cash requirements. You have a great day!
