 Well, who could have portrayed it better. Robert Downey Jr. is just about the hottest actor after his stint as Iron Man. I had never been so excited. Sherlock Holmes had been a life-long favorite. I had seen the preview and I know I'm going gaga over RDJ again.

I just like Robert Downey Junior as a n actor and think there would probably be no one better to play Mr. Holmes. | 3. thedailyclick (1117) | 6 months ago |  I must admit that the new Sherlock Holmes movie interests me partly to see how Downey interprets the legendary character. Having watched many of the older Sherlock Holmes movies starring Basil Rathbone it's obvious that Downey's version will not only look different but will have many different characteristics.
I probably wouldn't have chosen Downey myself to play Sherlock but would have chosen Jude Law or Ed Norton to take on the role.
