to qualify for paid online surveys? I'm just wondering, because I don't qualify for many of the surveys I try to take, and I've been tempted to make up different answers to try to qualify. Have you ever done this?

I will admit to having exagerratged at times. It is worth it sometimes for a good payout,You are usually talking about pretty small amounts of money so i dont think the survey companies are that conerned about whether or not you are telling the absolute truth. If that were the case I don't know how many surveys anyone would get.

Ive never done this because some websites have software that detects the inconsistency in answers of the surveys which they give, this of course shows them that you are lying, giving them one option which is to remove your account, so i dont recommend doing it.

The software protection is one of the reasons that I don't do it.

I think every one lies at one time or another. Survey sites are just a waste of time. I have joined one and never got to the payout. Lying might just be a waste of time as well.

I don't lie. Also, like someone mentioned above there is software to detect inconsistencies. We have to remember that companies want the honest truth. They are looking for accurate information to gain knowledge for marketing or whatever it may be. So if we lie, the information that they gather isn't right anymore. They are even paying us to tell the truth. I don't think it's right to get money for lying.

So the corporations that are using this market research in order to make money...you don't think that they ever lie to make a profit?

I'm sure some do, but not all. It's good to be an honest person though. There is no reason to lie just because someone else may or may not be lying.
