Bomb explosion again in Cotabato City!!

By the way bombing here are temporary stop and their are a lot of militia and police men doing patrolling in the city. It look like their a battle zone within the heart of the city, but it is still look normal to us. It is better to see them around doing both foot and armory tank patrolling than no protection at all. I think we get all immune to those threats and people here are starting to start again in picking the pieces of their life back to normal. Keep on watching or be alert as always as this bombing are not only limited here in my places. if it is really from a terrorist plan they would still plan another attack if no stricter law are implemented by the Arroyo government. This series of bombing do not only happen here in Mindanao and other regions in our beloved Philippines could fall as the next victims of terrorist attacks. As the rumor spreading in our locality the bomb explosion here in our places is a trial test mission for terrorist plan to undergo more bigger bombing targeting government, militia men, and the innocent civilians are not an exemption on their plan to create mass panic among the people. Many groups blamed the secessionist rebel groups of Moro Islamic National Liberation front as behind this massive bombing. While spokesperson Ed Kabalu of the MILF denied this accusation and blame it to President Gloria Arroyo as the master mind and behind this plot to create fear among the masses. So far the investigators arrived here last week and do the scene of the crime operatives investigation on the site of the bombing. They found evidences from the debris of the bombing from the rooftop of the church such as nails and shrapnels which flew after the bomb explosion. Businessmen are requesting government to send the Marines to protect the city so that lawless elements will think twice before making their next plan. so far from my observation their are now lot of police and militia men visibility and do patrolling in the city. But, to my opinion they are not enough to protect the city. They are always late to rescue and have been weak proven by the latest bombing. They are less effective unless the respected and fearless marines come to the city that people can finally go to sleep at night with peace. thanks

But their are many speculation and some groups blame the government for the worsening situation. The government especially the militiamen blame the MILF forces have a special operation groups trained their men in making explosives and the bombing in some particular area of Mindanao is only a trial test. More are going to suffer from their test and it is not only limited here in Mindanao but also in Manila, Luzon and Visayas region. Also, the anniversary of the failed peace talk negotiation between the government is nearing this month of August. The MILF spokesman Ed Kabalu mention they demand the continuance of the peace agreement. In general I am not in favor to separate Mindanao from Philippines and establish it as separate country. They want division but the people here only want peace. Both Christian and muslim are having good relationship with each other. The main troubles maker here are the politics with the government and rebels leaders. Both blame each other for the bombing. The other side blame Pres. Arroyo as the main culprit to destabilize the nation in order for her to declare martial law and the so called charter change. All the victims here are the powerless and voiceless innocent civilians. All we need today even though you do not live here is to remain vigilance as terrorist target any places without warning. As of now, their no need to blame other groups as their still no enough evidence to pinpoint that they are the main perpetrators. Blaming will only worsen the situation. thanks

Yeah, Everywhere seem not a safe place and everyone should be extra vigilance as even the most advance and powerful country with strict measurements and policies are even fall as victims of terrorist activities as what happen in New York Trade center. I do not like to blame others groups or some religion as the culprit. As i know everyone religion is great and advocates peace, never hatred or violence. Investigators are still in the midst of gathering evidences. But, it always took them longer to identify the perpetrators. As for the meantime as a good citizen of our respective countries. We should also do our share and not only depending on the government to solve this crimes alone. If we see, observe and know suspicious person doing heneious activities. we need to open our eyes not remain deaf. But makes an effort at least to call or send messages to law enforcers to investigate a person planning bombing. Yeah, I think it is the September Mumbai bombing if I am not mistaken. Also, that follows the Mindanao bombing, is the Jakarta bombing of hotels. And, some speculates that the series of bombing is done by terrorist who operates as Jemayah Islamiyah or JI with connectio only as a trial test and the groups will still bomb other targeted countries to spread terrorism. Also, some rumors from a internet media report and from leading tabloid mention that the the main group operation headquarter is on Indonesia, and the area in Mindanao is a training grounds for recruits. While, some of their financial supports come from Malaysia. Your place India is also a mixture of different races and of different religion. But, even if our races and religion and beliefs are different with each other. Every humans who are in the right frame of mind never advocate violence and only want peace and security of their family lives. As a simple citizen of our respective countries. We should act and always be aler, observe and forward any suspicious person or activities that would ruin the economy and destroy lives of many innocent people. I heard it recently the latest news on my local radio as of today July 20 as reported by DXMS station here in Cotabato City. Maybe, the news will be available midnight, but here in the Philippines it is already a breaking news in ABS-CBN tv station. thanks for your responses

Hi, shibham, All we can do is to pray for peace all over the world and let us do our own things to help the authorities to report any suspicious person or activities. To hunt those terrorist who even their relatives, friends or same religion will also fall victims to their plot. Today is holiday here in my city and Muslim settlers celebrate the Isla Waj Miraz or the night and Journey and ascension of Prophet Mohammad. Luckily, offices, schools are close today. If today is not holiday many will become victims, as it is the main roads and many students and commuters passes on the road where the latest bombing happen. Thanks for your responses
