its the 40th anniversay of NASA landing on the moon today and that was one of those moments that you remember where you were at that moment in time. where were you when Walter Cronkite was talking about Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. Do you remember?
what other historical moments do you remember where you were during the time. when i first found out about 9/11 i was at the hospital waiting for an allergy test. they had the tv on in the waiting room.
would you like to travel to the moon? mars? outer space?

I was 6 yrs. old, and in grade school when this happened. I do remember all of the excitement and this was the start of a Great space program that is set in place today to give kids a hope and dream of something more to come as they get older what they can become. But after this there are many events I remember that have played an important part. Just depends on all you want to really think on.

I was watching it live on the TV at home and it was something like 3 AM before he actually stepped on to the moon so I was pretty tired but I would not have missed seeing that for anything even though I had to go to work only 3 or 4 hours later.
I'd love to go to Mars, but of course it will never happen - not for me anyway.
