Any recommendations of DURABLE dog toys???

I´ll be waiting for answers to your post as I have the same problem. I have a German Shepherd puppy. She is on her way to destroy my garden. Fortunatly we have very mild winters and she already learned that the house is mine. But still she once chewed a piece of concrete. I´m still wandering what part of the house is lackinmg foundations. I have bought her all sorts of toys, great smoked pork and cow bones. It´s not enough. Recently I discovered that I have an enemy that throws a newspaper twice a week. It even has my name on a plastic wrap even if I´m not subscribed. So, instead of going to a gym or go jogging, I use up energy picking up shreds from the lawn. People say they settle down with age. Let´s hope for the best!

Oh you have a great dog...that's my favorite dog Labrador..I'm sorry I don't have any idea of what kind of toy for your dog. Labrador is a hard-biter that's why almost every kind of toys you give to him it won't last except steel or metal one that would not be advisable also for him...I would suggest you to buy cheaper one if ever he ruin it, it would just be cheaper to replace it...

I get my dogs bones from the butcher - alot of times they have the throw aways and they just give it away here for pets. It isnt really durable but its alot cheaper than buying the kongs (i have one my dog ate through most of it)

When my pup was little he chews quite a bit. I was told by my friend to by cow hooves and it work wonders on the pup and also once a week i will give him a bone to chew. I do have a lot of kongs, he chews on that often but now he is older he has stop his chewing habits but i do still give him a bone or two.
