I was 12. I was outside and my older sister called me in to watch it. I was mesmerized. I sat and watched for most of the day. What were you doing when APOLLO 11 landed on the moon?

Hi, debrak,
I was in class, and the teacher brought in a TV so we could all watch it. I was floored! It was one of the most amazing things ever, and still is!

I was too! I didn't want to leave to go with my friends to see Romeo & Juliet....something I had looked forward to for a week. I will always have the two things joined in memory.

Hmm well lets see that would of made my mother 5 so needless to say I was nonexistent.
Although I was not alive at the time I was taught enough about it to feel like I was alive during that year and day.

History channel is playing the original footage of the landing. Mythbusters bebunked the conspiracy theory that it all never took place...it's been a day of memories for me. We were PROUD to be Americans then! July 20, 1969! wow
