Having a smile on our faces everyday (from morning till night) is one way to keep those ugly wrinkles away. . . . A happy disposition in life is one way of making us stay much younger than our age. . . . Do you agree with these?

Hi dori! You appear to be right that smiles can keep away the wrinkles. Though I believe getting wrinkles on one's face is a natural phenomenon and it happens when one grows older in age yet I agree with you that if we keep on smiling, we may get less wrinkles on our face. Actually, when we smile lots of our facial muscles get a kind of exercise and this way wrinkles may not occur on our face. I always keep on smiling and my avatar says it all.

I'm sure laughter and smile are healthy. We can't frown forever and we shouldn't let stress get the best of us. I have been doing yoga for a while and somehow I found my self smiling during practice LOL not sure why but it could be the effect of some postures. I don't know if smile makes people look younger, because I look younger even when I don't smile a lot. I inherit the skin from my mother, she is 64 and she looks younger than a 54 yo woman here. my mother does smile a lot, she never thinks much either. I rarely see her in stress or sadness too long. so her personality keeps her look young. I don't know if I can look young forever because we are definitely two different personalities :)

I agree that it is important to be happy. I forgot to be happy today and I was quite miserable. I did remember tonight to be thankful for my blessings and the things I have been given to do and that made me happy.

There are moments in our life that we are low and unhappy, we cannot avoid this. But it is important to bounce back and be happy.

Hi dorisday, I agree and yet I disagree. Smiling actually does make you feel happier and it definitely keeps you looking younger than your years. However with my prediliction for smiling I have begun to notice the advent of lines (no you can't make me say the word wrinkles of myself) around my eyes. Laughter lines of course but lines all the same. On the plus side my forehead is completely line free as when you're smiling you aren't frowning.

I see you point. . .. Those lines are better than wrinkles anyway. .. ..

I believe a smile on the face can bring the light on someone else's face and to make someone happy is all good than making yourself happy too at the same time so why not give a smile which does not cost anything and which brings only a smile in return. I smile because I know my smile can say many things to people who even does not wish to talk can give a smile in return.

I absolutely agree with you on that Med. Smiling at somebody can make somebody happy. . . Keep smiling. .. .
