Baking a cake in a pie pan? | | Can I successfully bake a cake in a glass pie dish (it's all I have!)? I'm not experienced in baking cakes at all. Can I use regular flour (and even mix in a little wheat) instead of using cake flour? I want to make a lemon poppy seed cake. Any good recipes or tips would be great. Thanks!

You can made it with Three/ fouth cup sifted bleached all purpose flour and two tablespoons of cornstarch. I'm sure that if you sifted the wheat flour good you can have good results. Why pay more for having the company do the sifting for you.
