Lying or misleading on Health Care Bill?

Obama has said more than once that the new health care bill would allow those happy with their present private health insurance to keep it. Here is a little loophole revealed by Kathleen Sebelius on how they will eventually force businesses to go onto the government run healthcare. She said that employees could be insured by their employers but if they left the job and started their own company the new company would not be allowed to choose a private insurance plan but must go onto the government insurance. Isn't this just another way to discourage economic growth? Maybe Sebelius sees the evils of the healthcare bill and "leaked" this small bit of information accidentally-on-purpose. What are the odds of that?

Whats wrong with it? Well, thats what I am looking at now actually. So far the over all aproach sends cold chills down my spine. And then theirs the poeple who will be running it, the U.S. government, that alone is enough to scare me away from it. but here, decide for yourself....have a read of it. http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/pdf/publications/AAHCA-BillText-071409.pdf

A lot of people are suprised when I say this, but yes....it COULD be as good thing. If it is done right and with in a constitutional framework, not forced down peoples thrats and is run by ANYONE but our current government. I wouldn't trust these people to walk my dog, let alone be in charge of my health care. We need to fix our government first, then start adding things prudently, when the waste, excess and beurocrocy is dealt with.

I think the whole health care plan is horrible. It was something he used in his presidential platform, and now, in the face of losing the trust so many Americans put in him, he is trying to push it through. I don't care how you look at it, or how many loopholes you find, it comes down to the fact that this country is already in debt, and people can barely afford to make it paycheck to paycheck as it is, so lets throw on a new health care tax and just make it work. He should be focusing more on how to get people jobs, not everyone is a Doctor, Nurse, or Pharmacist who will benefit from this.

I agree. People need to be able to buy food and pay their bills before they worry about health care. Jobs should come first. The healthcare plan also threatens to hurt the doctors and nurses. I have a feeling it will be slim pickins for good health care providers in a few years if Obama's government health care plan would become reality.

i really worry about Obama Policy about the health care. it might be his political waterloo. who knows? personally i think Health Care system should be based on market functions, not the government involved. it would decrese the efficiency as well as waste money.

There are lots of other things they could do to help fix the health care industry and lower costs without having socialized health care. Trying to rush Congress to pass this bill without even reading it is very telling about the whole thing. We should all be worried.
