Touchpad vs. external mouse: Which do you use more?

I only use touchpad because I do not have a external mouse but I have a friend who has a laptop and uses a external mouse.

Well, i dont use laptop so obviously i use external mouse. But whenever i use laptop, i prefer to use external mouse as its more comfortable and easy to handle. Happy mylotting!

I use an external mouse, I think I can do things quicker than using the touch pad on my laptop. My kids like the touch pad and always hide it from me!

I rarely use my laptop, whenever i use my laptop i use an external mouse which is very easy to handle and is more comfortable the only times when i use the touch pad is when i am traveling, or when i am keeping it on my laps.

Whenever I use laptop I prefer using an extra mouse. It's always more convenient. But I've seen people using only touchpad. If you are used to it, touchpad can also be very functional too. It's just a matter of practice.

I would like to use external mouse than touchpad because it is more quickly and comfortable.

I used an external mouse for a while when I first got my laptop, but now I usually just use my touchpad so I don't have to pull my mouse out. I guess I've grown pretty used to just using my touchpad. At first I was extremely uncoordinated with it, but over time my skills have vastly improved.

I would prefer the old fashioned external mouse any day! You cannot play RPGs with touch pad. But it is very comfortable to play them with the external mouse. And also touchpads are magnetic to dirt and you always got to keep washing them. This is not the case with external mouse. This is why I love external mouse!!!

I understand your feeling but I have not.

My laptop is Thinkpad. I usually use small red point as my mouse. It can hand most of the situations except very complicated operations such as Photoshop.

When I use others' laptod which is not Thinkpad, I do hope to use a external mouse.

I prefer external mouse. Mainly because it is easier to scroll and more comfortable. I rare use the touch pad. Even for simple tasks, I will use the mouse. I can do work much faster and efficiently.
