When you are working on the computer how many tabs do you have open? I usually have a couple of tabs open but they usually pertain to what I am working on. Do you work on two different things with different tabs opened? I will do that on occassion if my computer is processing slow. I will spell check an article while starting another article. How about You?

Oh dear I am the Queen of Tabs - something is wrong if I don't have at least 5 or 6 tabs open at once, Always have yahoo mail open, then bounce around depending on what I'm doing. Right now responding to friends on myLot's discussions so will open one respond to that, waiting for it to finish loading and open another, respond that and do the same, then back to the first to rate the discussion, open another and respond, to the second one rate that, open another, close the first rate the 3rd ---- think you get the point, I don't do 'waiting' well :)

Now that's interesting - I have found my pc runs better using tabs rather than seperate windows, plus much easier for me to bounce back and fourth - right now reply to mylot comments from yahoo mail, checking 'followers' on twitter, and reading friends articles on Associated Content.

That's so funny. I'm not very patient either. I have been told if you don't open tabs but new windows, that your computer runs slower. I don't think mine can run any slower so I do it anyway. LOL
Having tabs open just goes to show everyone how busy our lives are. With your writing, and blog, and family you have to be busy. I know I am. Today we are trekking off to the zoo.

there're only two tabs opened in my firefox at this time being, one is MyLot of course, and the other one is my Gmail box since I've been waiting my friends' response. usually, I prefer complete planned things one by one, after all, we are not computer, we can't work efficiently in pararell.

At least four tabs, one for email, one for skype to chat with my friend, one for stock market (mon to fri), to monitor the stock market and make my heart beats faster. The last one on whatever I work on at that moment.
Sometimes a couple more, but seldom more than six tabs. Usually open mylot with traffic exchange, and switch to and fro.

haha, dont worry about my blood pressure oh. I think watching stock market is better than running marathon oh.
It's so interesting to see the buyers and sellers getting together to negotiate price and trade. So funny that one party thinks it is the best time to sell, and the other party thinks it is the best time to buy.

I don't use tabs unless I am on someone else's computer. I do sometimes work in multiple windows though. It allows me to multitask.

First thought? What are you switching between tabs or something?

Oh yeah, except my work doesn't do tabs, they haven't upgraded IE yet, but I still have 5 windows open at a time, on a normal basis. At home I usually have 2 windows each with several tabs. Some things I just don't want to forget, some times it is just a "while one page loads..." kinda thing. But yeah, I'm a tab-aholic.
