Have u watched DEATH NOTE?   

Here's what my son have to say:

The story is about a high school student who is smart but bored. While gazing in the window of their classroom he found a Note Book and that Note Book is the Death Note. The Death Note can kill a person whose name is written in it after 40 seconds. He decided to kill all criminals to make a better world or his ideal world. A shinigami or a Death God who owns the notebook soon came to him and became his companion until Kira dies. Light Yagami is the student who happens to be the one who picked up the Note Book and soon known as Kira. Kira has a rival named L. L is the smartest detective in that anime. He has solved many cases no matter how hard it is. Their battle is not like any battle but a battle of intelligence or wits.

I don't watch the anime, but the movie, it so good. But I prefer the movie death note 2. I'm so loving Kira. He so cute. hahahah. But I think beside cute actors, the story is great, as it more towards the audience look at the Kira intelligence versus Light intelligence. I don't like L, but as being at the end of the movie, the character some how develop inside of me. I really recommend it if you into anime, and the story not so heavy, and it kind fun.

Death Note explores the corsept that power corupts and abuslute power corputs abuslutly.

It is not a bad show but you kind of know whats going to happen.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... i love death note, it shows how clever the creator is, while deciding, who to kill first or not to kill first, its great!!

The series is ok at the begging...thank it gets a twist to it and than u kinda don't understand it. The ending is some-what lame to me...i don't want to give out all wat happened but yeha..its a good anime..

First of all i will give you a spoiler, Yagami Light found the Deth Note on the sidewalk of their school which was dropped by Ryuk, a death god and then suddenly he turned into a godlike man who will stop nothing to kill all evil doers but the police found out that their prisoners are slowly dying one by one and.... just watch it, it is very interesting.

Death note is really a very good anime thou. it came out 3 live action film as well. but the film are somewhat differ from the anime thou. if you are planning to watch it, i suggest reading the manga as the manga gives you more insight on whats happening in the death note story!!

Basically what was already said by other posters. A high school student gets a book capable of murdering people who's names are written on it, and a world-elite detective has the task of stopping him. Its good in terms of psychological and philosophical issues. Yes there is the issue of power corrupting absolutely. There are other issues of what people are willing to sacrifice for goals. There is even an issue of id, ego and superego when it comes to the use of the note.

Among of the animes/mangas, this is indeed a controversial one...

It's impact to the society is disturbing, there was a cold case of a so-called "Manga Murder" in Belgium, w/c is done by a serial killer and leaving a note on his victim the lines of the main chara Light Yagami.

"WATASHI WA KIRA DESS" or I am Kira.

Also in the US, a student was expelled for having the Death Note books, it was an outlet of frustration of being bullied.

Death note anime or movie..
I never watch the anime, but I already watch the movie ...
The movie consist of 2 part.. Death note, and Death note the last name..
I think is very very good movie..
Lite Yagami is very clever.. and his girlfriend is very cutee too...
You should watch this movie.. I recomenden 5 star.. ^^
