What kind of jobs do you guys have?

Im working in a call center here in the Philippines. Basically, we have 8 hour shift and 1 hour lunch in between, and we are above minimum wager, so thats a plus. The only thing we hate is the shifting of schedules especially if youre sched falls from 12am to 5am. But we do have hazard pays and transportation pays, thats also a plus. And ive been here for 5 years now with an annual pay increase. Its not that i love my job, its also what we call a thankless job..because we will be taking calls during shift, we get irate caller ranting about their service and we still help them with their internet connection and more often then not, we dont get ven a thank you for the help we gave them. But then, the fact that we get higher pay then any other minimum wage employee..we still stick around.

I am also a student and will be doing my student teaching in the fall and will graduate in December. Until then I work for a local college in the dorms. I actually love my job. I have had it for almost three years and am able to do my homework while I am at work. I am excited about graduating and getting a job teaching but at the same time I am going to miss this job because it is so stress free.

I work as a computer programmer in a local company in my country (Philippines). My work starts at 9am to 6pm. I really love my job, because I really love to program and to create software that can help other people to lessen their jobs.

i am working online in one company, my job is typing and writing. but is still not enough because still low earning. i hope can get better..

I am presently working as a tactical medic of our City's SWAT unit. Likewise, I am an instructor on Emergency Care Courses. I used to work with the ambulance and rescue unit in our city before. I do enjoy my job. Its a little bit risky but it gives me the opportunity to save lives. On the instructor side, I also get the chance to teach people how to handle or provide care when they encounter an emergency situation which requires lifesaving care.

I'm working as a Software Helpdesk Coordinator locally here in Manila. I do enjoy my work though it was really stressful sometimes. I've been to this work for 2 years now. My shift is from 9am until 6pm. But since we will be having changes in sched. My sched will return to my original shift that is 6am until 3pm.

My work is to receive all incoming calls. Calls are logged according to their problems. Before the conversation with the Client ends you must give them Reference Number/Incident Number/ Trouble Ticket for the rendered problem. And do follow up there calls once in awhile. And close the calls of the clients according to the given Time Frame and a lot more.

I don't work. I'm concentrating on my schools.

Before I went abroad, I was a medical doctor. However, I accept any junior jobs as long as I am able to do it, such as fruit picking, waitress,etc.

Sounds like you have a nice part time job. I am working full time for a Company which does trading internationally. I like the job because it also gives me the opportunity to travel to countries in different parts of the world, get to meet people of different nationalities and cultures. I learn a lot from travelling to those places.

I have your job but the problem is I'm not in school anymore so it's not like I can just think 'Oh well it will be better when I finish my studies!'. I plan to get a new job, but atleast where I work I get a few benefits and also an annual bonus.
I sometimes wonder how I'd cope in a foreign country doing my job, I know I wouldn't be able to work with customers though so would be stuck stacking shelves. It can be pretty depressing, but if I was you and I wasn't being paid for the extra hour or so I was doing I'd probably cry!

I am not good for standing up for myself, at work I mean. I wouldn't say you are in the best job to see if you would enjoy working for money, it is pretty depressing working in retail so there are definitely jobs out there you'd prefer!
