I hate cooking as no matter what you cook for my children they never seem to be hungry or eat it.

Hello Jugs. How are you ? No, I don't love to cook. Among the things I don't do well, cooking tops the list. I have never had the skill for cooking, andy kind of meal or food. So, one time when I told a friend of mine that "I can certainly boil water very well", he said he did not believe me ! He was surprised ! Ha ha ! That's how much I am good at cooking !

My kids never got the chance to be picky eaters, if they didn't eat it the first time it was there for the next meal and cold. both Hubby and I were raise where food was not to be wasted. So we passed this on. But I had care of my Granddaughter who was a picky eater, she ate mac and cheese and that is is. I fixed a lot of mac and cheese while she was there. Grandma's can't fight city hall when children have already formed habits.

I really enjoy cooking. There was a time when I didn't like to cook because it seemed like no matter what I made, no one appreciated and I was also cooking for 10 people at the time so it seemed like I spent hours in the kitchen. Now that we are in our own house and it is just the four of us that I am cooking for, I find it to be an enjoyable task. I've been able to try several new recipes that have been big hits with our family and I don't ever feel like I am in the same old rut that I was once in. My suggestion for you, try out some different recipes, perhaps even some things that you don't think your kids will like and you might be pleasantly surprised that they try these new things and even like them.
