Is it a good thing to have toys on sales?

I hear very often clothing on sales, but seldom toys on sales. This weekend, my grandson went to a toy chain shop with his parents. Seeing so many toys, especially his favorate transformers on sales, they could not help spending much more, and parents willingly became toy carriers.
I wonder if it is really good to buy so many at a time. Would they cherish the toys as they should?

Yeah because you can have it in a lower price.
If you buy it not on sales it is so expensive. I'm sure
your grandson will love it and cherish it always.
Boys love toys as they are part of their childhood.
They love to dismantle it and form it again thats the
reality of kids.

If its on sale, then money-wise I think his parents did the right thing…they saved quite a lot and it will keep the child happy and occupied for sometime to come but regarding cherishing the toys, well these days children hardly cherish anything for long! There is so much to choose from and the price range is so wide that most of the time, parents are buying toys to keep the children happy…in turn, the children just play with them for sometime, break them and then hanker for more!

Based on my experience I think we should not buy many toys at once as kids will not be able to value the toys if they have too many to play. And for me I will only buy toys for my kids on special occasions like birthday or christmas. They is a reason to give and moreover they will not be spoiled.

For me I tend to buy things when they are the cheapest even though I'm going to be spending more money all at once but I then have to make sure I limit myself later on because I did do a spree beforehand. Now with kids, they do go through phases of loving something for a few weeks and then hating it so if I was the kids parents I would of bought all the items on sale but only given the child one at a time therefore the child constantly thought he was getting presents. I guess its a little too late to do that now though.
