Where would humans live when Earth is full?

I really never thought about it. I live in Ky with alot of horse farms and coal. I know they are taking alot of the old mining sites and building on them now, but what happens when we run out of them? I guess we are going to be like the old saying goes "packed in like sardines" almost like being on a packed subway. That is one way to get rid of closterphobia

kevchua, you are really in Sci-fi ya.. btw, do you think in the current planet, we will be over populated? with the current situation that more people are choosing to stay single, not many wanted children, I am more worried that we are getting aging community than the younger ones. The over population are happening in major cities, however back in some old back yard, there will still be ample place to live. Now, back to your question, if one day that the world is so filled, it no doubt will be in the 100th storey of buildings however still will have concrete walls. As for poverty, do it have connection with development? Happy MyLotting

right now we don't have to worry about this. i read that there are more older people than there are childern. this surprised me because all i see is childern you know. but if the earth ever gets full i think we will live on the moon. i heard like 3 years ago from this book that in 10 years we should have people living in space. i kind of don't believe it but i want to really bad, because i want my family to be the first to live up there. it could be like zeon. ( a space movie)

It would be millions of years before the earth is overpopulated that much. There is so much open space left to populate in most areas of the world.

We would probably find ways to live in the deserts and ice regions and eventually in space because theres a reason why its called space! It has a lot of space for us lol.

I think that people are going to build up buildings for people to live in. They will become very high and that's what the world will be covered up in. i think that there is a chance of humans living on other planets but i think that will happen in the distant future. We are definitely not close enough to living on mars or on the moon. I just hope that we will be able to sort out some of our problems before it's too late.

Earth right now has around 6 billion people.
I suppose it would take another 200 years to at least double that number.

If you look at population density around the world US, Europe, Australia and Russia alone could easily fit in those many people.

The human race faces more issues than land to live on.

Right from climate change to cosmic ray blasts we have all possibilities within a probable range which could in fact wipe us out.

But if we let our imagination flow, then we may be living on the Moon or the Mars in the future.

I think people can live in other planet. Under the developing science, we will develop other planet, and we can live there finally.

population is fast becoming a major problem specially when developing countries are failing to do anything about it. before space becomes a problem other factors will work in like limited natural resources and its cost. already essential commodities have become very expensive (at least here in India)i think sooner or later it will be survival of the fittest.

How about living in a forest. I would rather love to live an adventurous life.
