This last week has been a horrendous week for me. The other day I was tied up to the hilt with numerous assignments, the first of them was to go to some of the banks and do some paper work. later for that i had pretty many things to do. Now when i headed for the bank, I could smell something disgusting in my car. I was filing tax returns and deposits so I simply ignored the smell for the time being. Then I just couldn't stand the smell. I opened the bonnet and to my horror I found a dead, rotting rat on top of the engine. I puked and headed straightaway in top speed breaking the signals to the car washer, and got it washed. It took more than two hours for a team of three gy=uys to wash my car clean and retain its decency. I was dejected, and then again on Thursday Ijust opened to inspect my hood and again i found some feathers of pigeons and remains of it in the car. i had to go through the ordeal again. I feel so frustrated, . There were some pretty nasty events apart from this which I would like to share with you sometime later. Things have been turning against me, and lady luck was nowhere near me. have you ever gone through similar incidents like these? has there been a "series of unfortunate events" going on one after the other leaving you for a gasp of breath? Please do share....

I have just seen this - trying to catch up mail - I didn't know that you had a rat story too!I hope now that your luck has changed and things are going well again. In life, we often go through patches where it seems as if everything we do is wrong and that the whole world is against us no matter how hard we try. It will soon calm down again. Now don't get stressed out - it is not worth it. Many blessings

Actually my brother-in-law had this problem with an old Ford Galaxy he bought. It had been sitting in someone's barn for a few years, and he bought it to try to get it running and restore it. There was a rat's nest in the trunk! He got the nest out, and set mouse traps in the car to get the mice out LOL It took a little while, but he finally got them all out.

My car is quite new, and it doesn't have open spaces where something can get in, but one cannot help if it gets in from below to the engine compt. Hopefully I am spared from these incidents.
