Swimming is said to be good for health. But the issue is we do not have enough swimming pools. There might be some change in our city, as the municipal educational institution has decided that all students in the city are supposed to be capable of swimming in five years. For this purpose, more swimming pools must be available for executing the resolution.

No!Because I don't know proper swimming.I learned a bit some fifteen years back but didn't learn to the full.Just I know how to come up from under the water. It is sad,we didn't have any swimming pools in our town, when I was young. Now,there is one and I have planned to learn swimming in the near future despite my age.Cheers!

swimming pool - A public swimming pool
I have never learned to swim and at this age I am still scared of deep waters. It is good that there is such a plan to build swimming pools in your country and a far sighted dream for all students to learn to swim. Your country so far has produced good swimmers in international competitions in the past and this should boost the sport further to bring glory to the country.

Though we do have a lots of swimming pools around here, i still haven't learned swimming thoroughly. I go to the pool ocasionally only, though its just below my building. I know swimming a bit, but do not have enough stamina... My kids do go pool regularly, and i hope that within a year , they learn swimming well...

Swimming good for us Swimming can effectively consume the body fat, especially the long swim, because the water temperature and temperature difference of about 10oC, which will speed up the body heat consumption, swimming, uncontrolled diet, no doubt is a good way to lose weight. Results show: swimming than the long-distance running, gymnastics and wrestling athletes consume a lot of heat. Swimming in the 20oC water temperature when the basal metabolic heat distribution under the condition of five times the water temperature in the 50oC five-minute swim is equivalent to the heat consumed by the consumption of land-based long-distance running for one hour.

I like swimming.because that can relax their mood. Also help the body get good exercise. But the city's swimming pool too.Than the rural countryside of the River.Rivers in nature can accommodate a lot of people swimming Of course,if a place to live near the coast then the conditions will be better.I have every summer, are so often have the opportunity to go swimming.Perhaps the river to the rural areas.Maybe to the seaside.

Yes, I was expose to swim when I was 5 years old.. I enjoyed the pool very much. I am just lucky that near my house, I have a private pool to have a dip all the time. And I always try to do at least 5 laps while I am in the pool as also a good exercise. I agree that we have not got sufficient pools around, and hopefully more to come.
