Blaming something that has no life for the activities of those who have their own brain to decide and differentiate is in no way right. I believe the root of all evil is the person`s lack of sense of control. It is a senselessness of those who commit evil.
For example, if a man kills somebody due to arrogance, or rapes a girl, where does money come into the matter.
But, it does not mean that money is a good entity. Certainly money is the proof of the wickedness of human minds, but itself it can not be wicked as it has no life. That is money is not the cause of evil but it is certainly a result of evil.

Money is just a tool, how can it be the root of all evils. But when people love money more than everything, then the love of money will make them do all kinds of wicked things, including killing their family members and friends, that's why it is the "love" of money that is the root of all evils. | |

King Solomon's statement in Ecclesiastes 10:19 "A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things."

| his0yir (94) | 5 months ago |  I remember few months ago there was an interview on the radio with a lady, who was asked about her opinion on recently economic recession. What she said was quite striking. She expressed that she was so happy to know that econimic storm knocked down many rich people; she had known a lot of them and the way they love and make money is just 'evil'. She compared people who had to ration their food because of poverty with those who complained they couldn't go to restaurants because of recession. Her opinion sounds synical but it's hard to disagree with her.

There is a difference. Money by itself is harmless. But if one love it, craves about it, thinks about it daily. And is willing to stoop low to get it.. then i think there is where the read alert comes in.

I do agree money can turn people into bad way like greed, and so on but there is no other thing we can replace it, if we are to exchange goods for goods then how do you judge the value of the good?? so yea in my opinion it is not. wonder how you think about this issue? | |
