Wasted Bail out money

A lot of companies got bail out money. Did you know if they turn around and file bankruptcy that they DO NOT have to pay the federal government back for the money they got? CIT got 2.3 BILLION dollars last year in bail out dollars. Now it looks like they may be filing bankruptcy. So we the tax payers will never get repaid a dime of that money if it happens. Do you think the government gave out the money unwisely? Should they have make sure the companies would survive BEFORE they gave them the bail out dollars? The government is thinking about another round of bail outs. What do you think about that?

I believe one of the reasons our economy is in the mess it's in is because of the unethical behavior of businesses. An honest company should make an attempt to repay the money they got from the stimulus. I wonder if they teach ethics in economic classes. I wonder if the world, today, even knows what ethics is. I don't think the government should have give the money, period. It's not their job to bail out companies. Let them rise or fall on their own merits.

A man came up with this at my husbands job the other day and I love it! Do you realize that if the governemtn had given every person that has a home in the USA, $100,000 each they would have saved billions of dollars AND helped the economy! Pure genious, if you ask me! Personally, I would have bought a new car and paid of quite a few bills. What would you have done with that kind of money? I'll bet you would have spent it in the USA which would help to keep people working!
