Do think husband and wife working together/same dept is good?

Hi All, we have many couples working in our office. They got married here. do you think that they both will be talking at home or office? I feel after seeing the same face in the office they might be fighting at home. Even other people will think that they both are bias if one is on higher position. And if one of them is under each other will they hide their mistake?
Think if they had a fight at home and had to speak in the office due to some work. how they will react? Also they will get jealous if their partner fun with opposite s@x.
One good thing about this is they can go on break together also can understand the presure at work. share their opinion

I don't like nepotism in the workplace, but in a family run business or where the two are both professionals it can work quite well. In fact, I thought it would not until I tried it. Hubby and I worked side by side 24/7 as they now say for over 5 years and it was wonderful. We did not have time to fight! I would even go so far as to say our home live was enhanced by the experience because we both got a new and even higher appreciation for what the other one did all day long. Before each though the other worked less, I think, but when we worked together we each saw that the other worked hard all day long and we appreciated each other even more when we got home. Of course the kind of jobs we had we brought work home with us, but that is another thing. Also hubby really stuck up for me in the workplace and that was a surprise because at home he expects me to pull my own weight, lol.

i would love to work with my hubby! i work at a small family owned business and the owners are married to each other (lol!) their son and his wife work here too. we also have some part timers that work here a few days during the week that are hubby and wife. it seems to be fine here.

If they share same mental wavelength, then there won't be any problems. Otherwise may God help them and the office they work.

I think it depends alot on the people they are. some can handle being together all the time and some can't. I love my husband but I don't think I could handle being in the same place wth him for twenty four hours! They would definitely have to talk about it and come up with some coping strategies and maybe make plans for a break once in awhile!
