Too many bad things happening, have you ever asked WHY?!

There are many many things that happen in life to many different people. Flip on the news and listen to some of the outrageous and almost unthinkable things that happen to people- and then look at your situation. It could always be worse...

A lot of people right now are having tough times.. and for some it's like an overload- they are always wondering when they will have a day that just goes smooth... or when their "bad luck" is going to end.

Personally, I don't really believe in bad luck. I believe that things happen, and nobody may know why ever. But sometimes you do realize that what happened was to steer you into a new direction. or help you to cope with something later in life.

The best thing to do is not to get down... it's hard- but with your partner losing his job maybe it was because it was time for him to take a new path. Help him in making the best of this opportunity to find something better:)

Hi Laydee, I did ask why a few years ago. And u know what was my conclusion. I have a lot of good things happening to me, but I focus only on bad things. Everyday I spent only trying to get the bad things happening to me out of my way instead of enjoying good things. I let the bad spill over the good hours, making them also bad. And good hours dont necessarily mean getting a lottery, getting an unexpected raise and so on. Good hour could also mean not having anything bad happening in that hour. These occur with the same if not higher frequency as hours with bad things. We just dont notice them, that's all. If we do think we are unlucky, then we start focusing only on bad happening to us and contaminate the good hour if I can call it that. Nobody is unlucky. What may seem as bad today may be a blessing in disguise. I can say so with my experience and feel thankful to god that he did not listen to my requests for some now utterly undesirable wishes. We change, and god does know where we are going. So hang on. May be u wont feel that bad about it a few years down the lane.

Life has the habit of dishing up a few bad things now and then, don.t let it get you. Keep your chin up laydee, and get this straight. You are your partner's life and good luck charm. You can never be the reason he lost an important job. If you keep telling this, he may believe it after some time. Who knows? Don't go there at all.

It is somewhat easy to restore your self confidence if someone tries to put you down, but really hard to when you do it yourself. So don't do this to your self!

Yes there were situations when I wondered "Why ME???". The instinct to survival led me by the nose to action to get out of the situation. So I got out of it. We need to do some positive things to gain this self confidence. Don't torture yourself with questions, Pull yourself to gather and pull yourself out of this situation. You are a tigress, so act as one.

I do have similar feeling like you had about your partner’s job. Last Sunday my husband got a warning note for parking, so he had to pay £35. He has driven many years and it’s his first time to get a warning note. Why did it happen? The main reason was I insisted him to go shopping with me down town. So he did not want to upset me and he made a mistake. I thought I should take a part of responsible for the mistake, but my husband said it doesn’t matter. It happens. However I still feel sorry for him. My lesson is I should not push him. I should give him more freedom.
