What makes a Good Human Being?  |

 Some say, it is Education.. (50% I disagree)
Some say, it is devotion towards God (I slightly agree). I had seen some peoples who are very very bad in helping others. anyway, they are great worshiper of Gods too.. maybe, for selfishness, they may pray.
According to me:
RESPECT FOR DIFFERENCES (This is very Important. I hope people get,what I exactly meaning here)
Generosity
Kindness
Inclination to stand for Right and against Wrong
Avoiding Ego's
Equality on the basis of Race, Color, Health & Wealth. etc.,
Treating others with Respect
With the above said qualities, if we add "Sacrifice", it also stands for great human being.
In very simple words, "A Good heart can makes a good human being"
Education, Religion & Secularism.. all these are secondary things.
Dear friends, whats your idea of a good human being is....

I also think we need more people with all those things in them because if we had more people like that then the world wouldn't be so bad to live in. There's always something bad happen to some on in the world every day or every min and I just think the world would be just a little bit better if we had more people like that.

More on the molding of a person's value is through community involvement. There are illiterates as well who are good human beinghs. The education in this case is from the various experiences they have gone through in their life.
Overall, a good human is a person who comes forward in one form or the other to help a person out.
From all the points that you have stated... treatin others with respect is most important.. You can treat anyone with respect only when you are kind at heart or if there is no ego problem from your side. Scarifice... I don't think is so important in making any person a good human being...

One needs education for the smallest of activity in one’s life, even like paying and accounting for grocery purchases to erect mammoth factories, build planes etc. Education essentially provides knowledge. Take any field, a man without knowledge cannot compete in anything. The purpose of educational system is only to impart knowledge.
Knowledge and intelligence are two different things. An extremely knowledgeable person need not be cvery intelligent. Intelligence comes from applying the knowledge acquired “intelligently”. Goodness of a person comes from his own character, molded and/ or influenced by the Society or his circle of contacts. It is not that intelligent people always become successful in their lives or vice versa. Even school dropout have become great spiritual leaders, for instance.
To sum up, intelligence, knowledge and goodness are not interdependent but are complimentary to each other. All three are essential.

| 7. justbeingtiffany (984) | 5 months ago |  i slightly agree about god. because i might not be very religious but i met some of the nicest people i ever met in my whole entire life at chruch! i went to a church bible camp one time and these people weren't fake or kidding they were very dedicated to god had no doubts and they were just very nice by letting me hang out with them and letting me feel welcome. and they even helped me put up my tent. and i think what makes a person a nice person is someone who has morals and sticks to them. also a person who cares about people too much and doe more for others then their self my moms like that and its really nice.

A good human being understands others problems and help them in the time of need rather than always thinking about himself. He just spreads love and happiness where ever he goes with his positive nature.

Most humans are good, even the worst criminal has some good in him/her/it. It is generally situations and circumstances that make a human do good or bad and hence generally define him/her/it in the society in which that person lives in. Very often, even the best of intentions may end up benefiting a small number over a short period of time, but maybe harmful to a larger number or over a longer period of time.
