So like Planned Parenthood in Modesto Ca. wants a bill signed to allow teen girls to leave school without parents consent to get a abortion and to anything else they need to do. They say if they don't pass this they will sue the school district so that teen girls can have this right. So how does this make you feel? So we have children for other people to take control of until they do something bad then its the parents fault

First off I don't agree with kids getting any kind of treatment without the parents approval or at least knowledge. These are their kids and they have a right as their parents to know what is going on with their kids. The parents also trust that if their kids are in school, that they are actually in school and not running around doing whatever they want without their parents permission. I think Planned Parenthood needs to mind their own business and quit trying to come between parents and their kids. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Absolutely not. That is putting too much control in someone elses hands. It should be a family decision, not a school decision. We are responsible for our kids until they are 18 and they should have no say over it. I can see lawsuits galore.

I don't agree with allowing a minor to have an abortion without parental consent because it's a surgical procedure that parents have the right to be aware of. As far as allowing teenagers to leave school in order to seek birth control information and services, I do support that. Many times the fear of parents finding out keeps teens from protecting themselves which leads to unplanned pregnancies.
