I have a new great granddaughter. She came a little early but will be able to go home soon. I have no internet sites that will give me coupons and bargains for a baby
I think it may be against the rules for me to get these from you except by PM, any help I can get will be gratefully accepted. Also any of you who know of any help for the hospital bills for a premature baby that we can contact will help, these kids have no insurance. Mom had to have C-section and baby came early their bills are going to be terrible. Help please PS baby in California

Congrats on the new baby girl! I hope she gets to come home soon. California is well known for their medical expertise so I'm sure she will be home soon. As for help..I really don't know. Sometimes the hospital will give a bag with coupons and a starter kit in it. As far as the bills..I think you can apply with the hospital for assistance. There should be a medical bill advisor come to the room. If not..go there. I think that they will help in applying not only through the hospital but government assitance too. They was their money so they will help anyway they can.

hi pat,
how lovely! a new angel in the family.
congratulations!
first look for every inch of your bill (might have double charges or things that was charged to you but was not done). also you can talk to your doctor to reduce his bill by telling him that you dont have the entire cash to pay the bill. i think all hospitals have financial assistance officers to help patients with financial hardship. more often than not, people who are not insured will qualify for some degree of a care free fund (which i have read is earned from those insured patients). if patient qualify, the bill could be reduced to 50%. u have negotiated your lowest fee, dont be tempted to take out a loan. every single hospital and doctor will leave you alone as long as you religiously pay monthly payments which you can afford.
i hope i have helped u in some way.

Well I have seen a lot of that on the internet, why don't you try the babycenter.com I think they are giving freebies for moms and for babies too, they are giving free coupons on buying some diapers, or even the things that the baby can use. So I hope it will help you find what you are looking for. Congratulations to your new baby. Have a nice day to you!
