It is well known that drinking impairs your judgement, numbs your senses and reduces your capacity for common sense and logic. Of course if all three of those were already low, you probably should not really be drinking in the first place. Unfortunately, this doesn't always work for some people. Take the man who left the bar, had an accident, and then left the scene. He hitched a ride from someone who was driving past the accident. While in the car, the drunk stole an iPhone and charger from the good Samaritan. He gets out at his destination and gets in another car and drives back to the accident scene...where the victim of his robbery is there talking to police. So here he is, still has the stolen phone on his possession, and came back to the scene of an accident that he left....and he's still way drunk. As police approach him, he gets mad...kicks the tire of the police vehicle, and then tried to kick the officer. So like any smart police officer in dealing with a drunk and disorderly person, they sprayed him with a face full of mace. And then they kindly gave him another ride...to jail.
