| Educational Programing | | | | What are the television shows that you let your child watch without feeling guilt because they have a good educational value? For me, I let my son watch a lot of Noggin which calls itself "Preschool on TV." My son really enjoys Yo Gabba Gabba which I think has helped to teach him good manners. He remembers the songs from it and will sing them when he is doing tasks in the house. He also really likes Dora the Explorer and also Go Diego Go. I like both of these because they help him to get a small grip on Spanish. We live in an area where there are a majority of Hispanic students at their school and it is good for him to have a start on the language when he starts school. The school actually does teach Spanish during the primary years as well. Of course, I also let him watch some junk, but mostly we stick to the educational channels. I'm just very interested in knowing what other educational programs other parents like. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | My daughter watches a program called "something special" it is a program based around baby signing which i think is really cool. She also watches something called "show me show me" which is basically other kids doing show and tell on a differnt subject each time and then they teach you all kinds of things about it. I kind of let her watch whatever she wants at the moment but once she gets a little older and starts learning things i will push for her to watch a bit more educational stuff. | | | | | | | dorannmwin (17613)

| | The idea of educational programming for my son has been around since he was born, but only because he has an older sister. My daughter is going to be starting first grade on Wednesday, so she isn't at home with us all the time anymore. However, I really like that there is such a great variety of educational programming offered because I feel like that is part of the reason that both of my children are as advanced as they are. | | | | | | | Make The Best Of 2012 Advance Your Career In The New Year; Train To Be A Marine Tech At UTI! www.UTI.edu | add comment | | | |

| | You are absolutely correct. In fact, where we live, there is a channel on our cable that shows nothing but educational programming 24 hours a day. | | | | | | | | | distance education Earn a college degree online. Respected. Accredited. Affordable. www.apu.apus.edu | add comment | | | |
