My husband says we have enough money to hire a maid, but we get by pretty well without one. I am a stay at home mom, and have enough time to do the dishes and pick up the house pretty well. Sometimes my sons toys are left in the livingroom, but as long as the house isn't dirty my hubby and I don't mind. We are very happy with things the way they are, perhaps someday we will hire a maid if I get sick or if things get out of control.

I am not a home maker. I work with a company. I live in a hostel and has a cook who does cooking for me. I am happy with her performance. She also does my laundry at a very cheap rate. There is another servant to clean the hostel and another servant to iron clothes. The hostel also provides free transoportation to office.

I guess that I have a little of both. Everyday, I sweep the floors, do the dishes, wipe things down and put things away. I also do my own laundry. Once a week I have a maid come in and she really cleans, moves all the furniture, scrubs the bathroom walls down etc. I am fairly new to having a maid and at first it was a bit uncomfortable, I felt silly paying someone for something I knew how to do. Now I really love it, it is so nice to come home to a sparkling clean house.

No we cant afford to have a maid or a cleaner, if something needs to be done i have to do it myself. To be honest if i could have one i wouldnt, i would rather save the money that it would cost me and spend it on my daughter. Doing the housework can be quite therapeutic sometimes too
