Mr. Monk's favorite show

As sorry as I am to see the series ending (this will be the final season), I was impressed by Mr. Monk's favorite show, the season premiere. It was well acted and although I had figured out what happened before Monk did (probably because I wasn't awestruck by the Cooper Clan) I enjoyed it. What did you all think of the season premiere? I have my DVR set all ready to record every new episode. How about you?

I really enjoy the show Monk, but it seems like all I ever catch are the repeats. It seems like Friday night just isn't a good night for me to be watching the tv, as everyone else seems to have plans for me on Friday night. I do want to watch some of the episodes this season, since it is the final season. So I will just have to make time and cut out some of those prior obligations.
It is good to hear that the first episode of the final season was a good one. I wished I had a DVR so that I could record it and watch it at my leisure.
