wristwatches on left or right hand? |
|
i wonder how people choose which wrist to put their watches on. Does the dominant hand play a role here, or is it just random? I wear my watch on my left wrist and my dominant hand is my right. You?

1. virusxtreme24 (715) | 5 months ago | I wear my wristwatch on my right hand, since i'm left handed. And yes, I think the dominant role definitely plays a role. Wearing a watch on my left hand would interfere with my writing.

agent807 (114) | 5 months ago | Same here. I don't wear it when I use my computer because it is metal and the computer is metal (aluminum MacBook), and the metal scrapping is not a friendly sound. It's easier to tell what is one's dominant hand also. Southpaw rules.

2. caragh2608 (1027) | 5 months ago | I rarely wear a watch but when I do, I wear it on my left wrist. I am right handed. I prefer to be able to check my watch whilst writing, typing, or whatever else I might be doing. As I use my right hand for everything, its more convenient to check my left.

schlei (109) | 5 months ago | Yes it is more convenient right~ because you don't have to stop whatever you're doing just to check the time!?

3. danishcanadian (20583) | 5 months ago | I wear my watch on my right hand. I am left-handed, and by wearing my watch on my right hand, it doesn't get in the way of what I am doing, and I can look at it while I'm still working. I do not need to stop what I am doing most of the time, to look at my watch on my right hand.

4. Jennlk84 (2275) | 5 months ago | My dominant hand is my right hand and that also happens to be the wrist that I wear my watch on. I actually have noticed that most people tend to wear their watch or bracelets on their dominant hand!

schlei (109) | 5 months ago | I wear my bracelet on my dominant hand because my other has my watch! Do you have to stop writing or something when checking the time? Or maybe you've mastered a way not having to stop?

6. marguicha (3595) | 5 months ago | I wear my watch in my left hand (and I´m lefthanded). But I only wear it when I have to go out to an appointment where time is important. As soon as I get back home, I take it off. My watches are the computers and the microwave´s in the kitchen.

9. homeshoppers (1136) | 5 months ago | it depends to those of where they think is more convenient for them to check the time.. like me, i wear it on my left hand coz im comfortable to check time there specially if im using my right hand.. though some people dont use anymore wristwatch as they use their cp to check time but for me its not comfortable specially if im in a hurry. though some use it as an added accessory.. well, whatever it is what matter is the time is accurate..

10. coolcoder (1563) | 5 months ago | I guess I use both sides of my brain at once, because while I'm right-handed, I wear my watch on my left wrist. lol I have never liked wearing things on my right wrist--I think it might be because I don't want to have my hand weighed down when I'm writing.:)
