Are you on pace this month to make payout? I know it is kind of early in the month, but since we are almost half way through, I thought I would check to see how everyone is doing with their earnings.
I am actually doing better than normal. And it is all because of you. I would like to say thank you to those who have been responding to my discussions. And to those who start interesting discussions for me to respond to.

As a newbie you maybe able to help me as you are all talking about reaching minimum payment. How many posts, roughly, would you have to make in one month to reach the minimum payment level with no referrals and no tasks? Does it make a difference if they are just responses to discussions or a mix of responses and discussions that I start.
When I know this it will give me something more to aim for each month.
Many thanks

It does make a difference whether you start the discussions, or if you are responding to discussions that other people have started. You will get paid a lot more if you can start discussions that have a lot of responses. When I say a lot of responses, I mean in the range of 50. Of course, the more you can get people to chat it up in your discussions, the better off you will be.
What I have discovered is that the more you respond to other people, the more other people respond to you. And the more friends you have, the more responses you will get to your discussions as well.
Good luck to you!

Thanks for the advice, it's very much appreciated.
I'm finding it easier to get replies on some discussions then others, which is very annoying when I've asked a question that need answering. Maybe when I've been here for a bit longer then people will answer me more, you know familiarity.
I'm going to think about what I can start discussions on and what will be good talkative ones. Although I have started one discussion on something that is relevant know and affecting many people but I've only had a few replies.
Oh well, I'll just keep on going.

Hi kelly,
I just want to add something here. When you started a discussion, please give a comment on every single response that you received. You only earn from your first response and to earn more you have to give a comment for the rest.
Giving a comment also is the way to show your appreciation for the response. I would give you a good feedback for your responder. They would like to come back to your discussion and give a response to your new discussion.
Beside that, by giving a comment, you open an opportunity to earn more since every comment and comment back your earn you. Keeping the discussion open and have a long tread is a good way to earn here. It is also the way to make a good friends here.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Hi kykidd,
I am not sure if I could make it this month. I am only at $4++ for this month. I have to try harder if I want to reach it. The problem is my internet connection sometimes make me crazy. There is a time where no connection at all
. And my activities in the last few days are a bit slow because of some event like myLot system upgrade.
I hope I still can make it this month. Since I don't started a lot of discussion, I hope I could find a lot of discussion that I could respond.

You are right, mike. It is easier to give a respond then giving a comment especially if our discussion have a lot of responses. It is hard to write a different comment from one discussion. Most of it will be the same with only different in sentences or words used
.
At the end of the day, we might only give 2 or 3 different ideas from 10-15 responses. More so if the discussion have a limited choices. Or yes or no discussion.

It sounds like you are well on your way, especially if you have been having problems with your internet and because of the upgrades to myLot. So if you are that far with those problems, you still have plenty of time to get to payout, especially if the problems cease.
Thank you for your responses in this discussion and have a great day here on myLot!

Hi akuler, I find it a lot quicker and easier to comment on my own discussions than finding one to respond to. I never have a problem commenting back on all the responses as I only post on something that interests me in the first place, which think is the trick. If I have nothing to start one day, fine, if the mood takes me I'll post three the next day. But you see people who post ten discussions every day soon run out of steam and stop bothering to comment to either anyone or say just one in four which I think is a very rude practice and discourages others from visiting their future discussions.

Yes, I believe I am going make payout as I am over halfway there. I don't start many discussions myself, as it is easier for me to respond to discussions, as that is hoe I am making my earnings in here. I just post quality and make them descriptive and it has paid off. My goal is to get the payout every month, and I do believe I can do it, as it is taking a lot of effort on my part to get payout. I find it very hard to come up with good topics to even start discussions, so that iswhy I just post responses as I don't have to come up with anyting but a good response, and that is much easier anyway. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
