What kind of Jeep do you have? | | | | Also what have you done to it? What do you use it for? Do you 4 wheel it? I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 with the 318 V-8, automatic transmission, power moon roof, power door locks, power brakes, power steering, A/C, 4 wheel disc brakes and leather. I have added an Aussie locker locking rear differential to my D44A. I also have a Rough Country 4 inch lift and 31 inch General Tire Adventuro Mud Terrians ready to go on it as soon as I find the time to get them on it. I use mine as a family 4X4 hitting all the local trails here in western washington. I am planning on adding a lot of different things to it to make it a better off road machine. | | | | | | | | | | Compare JeepĀ® Patriot Dependable Trail Rated Off-Road Capabilities In The New Patriot! www.Jeep.com/Patriot

| | Mine wasn't a jeep so to speak, I had a Suzuci Sidekick, looked like jeep, 4WD made it easier in the winter to get around. I used it for everything. But unfortunately. it was stolen and totalled, and I didn't havenough insurance on it to cover it so I am out a car for now. | | | | | | | | Mykdiver (49)

| | What did you have done to it? Anything, or was it stock? How old are you? How did you like it for off roading? I think they can be built to be very capable 4 wheel drive machines. They need lockers, lift and mud tires, but the drive train is farily good, oh yeah you would also need to add in gears to help out the little mouse engine. | | | | thowell (2767)

| | That is ok. I know a lot of people your age or older that are really into 4 wheeling. It is not an age thing it is a love for the outdoors, and for overcomming all odds. A lot of 4 Wheelers are in their 40s and 50s if not 60s. It is a sport that spans the ages. I have seen old people, young people and even babies. I take my 18 month old along for the ride and he loves it. Good luck, and I hope the bug hits you so you can enjoy the sport also. | | | | | | | Compare JeepĀ® Patriot Dependable Trail Rated Off-Road Capabilities In The New Patriot! www.Jeep.com/Patriot | add comment | | | |

| | We just sold out 97 Jeep Wrangler to my parents. We still have a 2007 Jeep Unlimited 4 door, and an 88 Wrangler. The unlimited is basicaly as it was when we drove it off the lot. We want to get it payed off before we take it out on the trails and kill it. The 88 is equiped as our rock crawler. It has a 93 Chevy Blazer motor and automatic transmission in it so we call it our Jeeprolet. We just added new corbeau seats that helped the ride a lot. It has an Arb locker in the front and a Detroit in the rear. It has a short shaft kit and a 4 inch Skyjacker lift. There is a Warn winch in the front and a custom spare tire carrier in the back. We use 35 Goodyear Wrangler. We wanted to get a newer rock cralwer but after you put all the work into it, it becomes hard to part with. Its nice to meet another rock crawling fan here! Nice ride. | | | | | | | | Mykdiver (49)

| | Thanks. It sounds like you know what you are talking about when it comes to 4 wheeling. I do not do much rock crawling, mostly trail riding, which entails rock crawling mud slinging and everything in between. Good luck on you 4 wheeling and with your vehicle. It sounds like a nice machine. I would keep it and just continue modifying it. It does not pay to start over on another vehicle. | | | | | | | Looking For a Liberty?
