how about get a job, save up, shape, try internet dating, save up for a renting/buying a house, if all else fails, try lottery? XD

remember, think positive, it'll be ok, you'll find whoever you'll need to find to make a life :)

you don't have to restart your life but change your habits and move towards a more healthy lifestyle. Find a better job, save your money(christmas funds,saving accounts,piggy banks),go to church(might even meet a lady there, although i'm not a church goer it will lift your spirits), work out,be active and lively.. your life with brighten up soon, just keep your head up and think positive.

Hey buddy, you are 30 years old. Let me tell you you are not 70 years old yet. You have the body and the mind to start it all over again. Think of yourself before getting a girlfriend. When you good, i know there will be girls interested knowing you more.
That is life, sometimes people are lucky to have what they want at an early age. But hey, your just 30? and im 29, i don't have my own house yet, but i am doing good with my new business. I actually started it just this year.

I think the first thing you have to do is stop comparing yourself to your friends. Surely you had different prioities then they did, I'm sure they all had different prioities then each other. I wouldnt consider you a failure if most of your bills are paid and you have a roof over your head. I'll bet there are times that your friends that are tied down with their spouce and their kids are envious of your freedom.
I too am 30 and single and the only reason I have my house is when my Mom was killed I got hers. I dont have a good job but I try to stay out of debt the best I can.
I understand about being envious of your friends as I have the same sort of thing going but they have their lives and I have mine. Its kind of funny when some of us get together, they are always asking me questions about my love life because they are totally bored with their own. I think that where your friends are concerned, thing probably arent always what they seem.

i'm 30 too..i'm turning 31 this year..
i am a single mom...
i have a 14 year old son whom I am raising alone.
i am sending to school..

i have a lot of monthly bills.
the expenses are just non-stop..

i live in my das's house despite the fact we don't get along..
just for me to have a little savings...
i feel bad paying for rent somewhere else...


it does feel frustrating..but the imprtant thing is... we have to do what we have to do..

i work soooooooooooo hard you have no idea..

i barely get enough sleep in a day..


but no matter how tired i am,,i need to get up the next day and do what needs to be done......

Hello my dear Clorissa, you must stop this feeling sorry for yourself at once my dear otherwise you'll end up with nasty lines on your face and then however are you going to be able to meet a nice young man. Remember my dear a nice young moneyed man will be the answer to your problems but he won't want you all wrinkly now will he. You really should just sell that car of yours my dear and start taking the bus and you'll soon have lot's more money to save if you put it in one of those nice building societies we chatted about before.

Clorissa - I understand that you're probably just venting and what-not. However, remember that self-pity is NOT attractive. So now that you're done venting. Stop feeling sorry for yourself - get up, dust yourself off! Only YOU can change what's happening around you. YOU are responsible for YOU. Especially at 30! Come on man!
