How many times you have helped people not related to you  

Definitely! It's important to help out whoever needs it. It doesn't matter to me if someone is related to me or not, if they need help, I will give it. Keep doing your good deeds!

Yeah, i like to help people out when they need it. Overall I can only do so much to help. Like the other day, while I was waiting in the car for my mum to get something from the shops, the parking lot in front of me had a trolley in the way of it, and then this big fancy 4X4 car rolls into the car space with the trolley in it, there were 2 other cars either side of him. So he was slowly driving into the space and also trying to get out of other cars' ways but a;so being careful not to hit the trolley with his car. So I got out the car, ran over and took the trolley out of his way and put it in the trolley bay. When I returned, the guy in the car came walking past me and said thank you with a big cheery smile. i felt so good about taht, i like to help people out when ever i can. =)

Hello Shantha. Yes, ofcourse I share your belief. And, I have helped people not related to me many times and in many ways I could. This had to do with education, expenses, training on the job, advice in adjusting to new countries and environments, and more. I am very glad the people I had helped are doing quite well in their careers.

Yes I do believe this also. It always come back in a good way for you. It is like doing something good and later on when you least expected the favor will be returned to you.

Or if you don't help maybe one day you will need help and no one will be there to help you because you didn't lend a helping hand to help any one.

I always help people even if there not related to me. It makes me feel good and it is like a reward for my self that I have done a good thing today or any day.

I feel you just never know one day you may need help your self and the favor will be returned.

I never expect the returns of my helping to others. Actually i just love helping others at times when they need someone. I keep myself in that persons position and feel very bad when no one comes to my help.
I always help my friends with studies and ready always to share my knowledge best as i could. More than myself i care for others and this quality has many times left me in problems of loosing things. Here, as u help other by giving your costly materials for them to use and if they not take care or run away with it and dont give you back , how would you feel. So now i have stopped giving things to other instead do them by my being.

Helping others is a very good thing in life. There may be some people who don't believe in doing so. But, according to my experiences in life, helping people really makes me happy and feel good about myself. Even if there is no reward for helping someone, making ourselves feel good about ourselves will really help us in the long run and help us in living a happy life...Now, that's a blessing indeed. My other happy by helping them makes us happier in life.

i love to help people, but nowadays lot of criminal take advantage on our kindness. recently what had happened in my place is when a fren of mine trying to help someone he found laying unconscious in the middle of road, it happened at nite time when not so many vehicle pass by. so when he's trying to help this guy suddenly out of nowhere one of the guy fren came and ask my fren his wallet, and the guy who pretend to collapse woke up and help his fren. with this kind of incident it make me think twice to help..

Hi shantha, a nice discussion and yes I have helped a lot of people who are not related to me and even whom I have not met. I had given money to pay the term and exam fees for my son's classmate, as she had lost her father suddenly and as they did not have any other source of income after that she was about to dicontinue her education, now she has graduated and found out a very good job for herself and I am very happy about it. This is just an instance. I have and keep on helping people in different ways according to my capacity.

Yup, i do share the same belief as you. But I'm not looking for any good as in return, i just tend to put myself in people's shoes. Last time i used to fetch people which is not related to me when I'm on my way back to the hostel too. Especially when it's night time, it can be very dangerous for a girl to walk back by herself. So, one day i saw this girl walking back by herself and it's going to rain, so I made a u-turn so that I can fetch her. I invite her to join me, and by the way I'm a girl also which I don't think I can do anything bad to her. That 5 minutes drive back to our hostel really gave me the awkward feeling. when we reached, she looked at me weirdly, and without a 'thanks', she quickly get out from my car. Sigh.. I'm speechless, since after that I'm a bit reluctant to fetch people anymore.

I remember helping people who are not my blood relations...I feel very happy helping such people because they are very grateful than the blood relations...I do not know the number of times I helped people because I personally feel that these things should not be counted but you should continue doing it...:-)
