I don't think so, John. It will be awkward if your girlfriend is as tall you are and you are only 4ft. tall.lol having a short partner is not an issue at all as long as both of you are compatible. A tall man can easily find a partner unlike ladies who are so tall, men most likely become awkward in courting them.

Hmmm...do you really love your partner? Im just wondering coz if you do, you wouldn't mind thinking about your physical individuality. Naturally there would be slight problems of inconvenience for both of you if you say you are much taller, but which can be easily worked around.

I think you are just confused and worried about what people will say about your relationship. And that is something you yourself have to work out. The real problem is not about you being taller than her, its about you not having fully accepted her.

My husband's ex girlfriend was about the same height as your girlfriend.My husband's height is 5"11'. It wasn't really a problem for them. Height is just physical appearance.

All that matters is how you feel about her and how she feels about you. I am short, I am 4'11" and so EVERY guy I have ever dated has been taller, I had a couple of guys in high school that I really liked turn me down and make fun of me because I was short . So if you like her, don't let it affect your relationship, this is what I told my ex who was 6'3" 'Hey, now you got an excuse to sit all the time ' Looks don't matter, feelings too. Always remember that.

What's matter the most is that your love for her. Love never have rules about what you suppose to be to get in love. Don't mind what the society around you might say, why should you impress people that you don't know or like.

What will happen to your relationship is in your hand actually. You control your life, don't make it complicated. Love her personalities rather than her physical.

Don't take it personally. Even i face the same problems. I am 6ft tall and my girlfriend is 5 ft 2 inches tall. I don't think, height would be a problem unless u have the same same feelings for your partner all through your life. No one else but you should understand this. No one can suggest you what is good for you in this case. If you yourself would find this odd, then everyone else will.
You got to cover the pitfalls of your relation.

Height should never be a problem in relationship as the main factor is in the mind. If you both love each other truly then height is a tiny matter. Of course when you go out with your partner people may react to the heights but that is their problem not yours. It can be no way a hindrance to your relationship.

One of my grandmom was 4 feet and grandpa more than 6 feet tall. They had an excellent married life and the advantage of their relationship was that my short grandmom had all tall children. So set aside you confusion and be happy.

Well if you are the male I think its a beautiful thing, I am tall as well a woman with a 4 feet man, does not look good imo, but a tall man with a shorter woman, that is something I wish I could find the only way that can happen for me is if shac gave me a call lol, too answer your question no it is fine, does she look really young in her face, maybe thats why you feel awkward you don't want people to think you are dating a child. if that is the problem, just make sure she always have her i.d you will be fine.the name is johndevis1234 I just hope you are the man, I can't see a woman 6'3 with a 4 foot man.

In a relation the only thing that matters is love and nothing else really,it doesn't matters whether you are tall or short,white or black,the only think matters is your love.Don't give any thought to what the society thinks about you two,You love her and thats what matters at the end of the day.

In your case, you're just confused. But if it is the other way around like you're a man and your height is 4 feet and your girl's height is 5 feet, for me that's an issue. But if you both love each other, nothing is an issue wether in your case or the other way around case. As long as faithfulness, love, happiness and trust are there... Nothing to get confused or be bothered about.
