I have lost my son  | |  I have had the worst few weeks!
I have broken up with the woman who i loved and cared about so much! We had a baby boy about 6 months ago and now they have moved on. Things got too bad for him, and I had to refuse to allow him to live in an environment where arguing was happening, he never deserved to grow up like that.
I have had to make a big sacrifice but they have now left and are over 2,000 miles away from me. I wish I knew i was doing the right thing, but i have had to do this for my son, but feel i have lost him in the same light.
the time is the worst! I cannot afford to fight this all the way! The relationship between myself and my ex-partner has disappeared completely due to things continually being done and I wouldn't take it. My life has turned upside down within a week and now i am just lonely. I miss my son so much and look forward to when i can afford to go see him, but i miss him, and wish i could hold him everyday!

Children should not be subjected to a life of argument. They need stability. We should never stay in a relationship just because we think that it is best for the kids. Usually, that makes it worse. Try to stay strong. And (I know that it is hard financially) try to see him as much as possible. Always let him know that you love him and are going to be there for him.

It was true, i was only there for his sake in the end, but it got too much and I could not allow him to be around what he was seeing. The hardest, and most hurtful decision i have ever had to made, but i know now he is in safe hands as the grandparents are around 24hrs a day.
Although it does hurt, it has to be something to help him out. 2,000 miles however does make it harder, but for your children you would do anything!
My life can be financially strainned, and lonely but all for him... there is not a second option... i would do anything for my son! | |

There is too much in this world that they will be exposed to when they get older. We need to protect them as much as we can for as long as we can. | |

your son.oh my only six months old that is so sad.but
you know if you had been married you wou ld have had
some legal rights, this way you have nothing as I understand
it.I just dont understand this modern way of just living
together.it baffles me as there is no permanency at all.if
things get tough everyone bails out. Will you be able to have visiting rights? Do you still love her? maybe you two might'be able to think things over and get back together? why did you have to
