What's a Good Price for a hotel Room at Disney World? |
|
I would like to take my kids to Disney World sometime next year if possible. I have no idea what the average rate is these days to stay at the hotels there. Anyone know what a good price is to stay in Disney World?

1. khayshenz (1093) | 5 months ago | Hi Shar! Planning on visiting Disney World?
Well, I don't really live in that area - in fact, I live in the West Coast (cali). I've been out there - but stayed with my aunt who lives in Pinellas Park. Anyway, I suggest you visit travelzoo.com - they've got good deals. Last I check - they have Disney World deals too.
Have fun!

There's a trolly that runs almost all day long up and down the main street. It's really cheap - $1.25 each way or $4.00 for the entire day. We did that from our hotel by the convention center to Sea World. Definitely worth it. It stops at all the parks.
Have a good trip!

Shar19 (2794) | 5 months ago | I'm sure it would be cheaper to stay off the park. I think some hotels offer free buses to the parks too.

3. gitfiddleplayer (5474) | 5 months ago | The hotels aren't really that expensive since they know you will be spending most of your money at Disney World. I would pay about $75.00 or $80.00 bucks for one, most of the are on the strip and you can park your car and ride the shuttle or the bus to Disney World. Think about how long you are going to stay, you will spend most of the time at the park and maybe a few hours sleeping at the hotel. Most have breakfast and discount tickets, check around, you can get some great deals.

Shar19 (2794) | 5 months ago | I guess it all depends on what kinds of "bells and whistles" the hotel has too.

4. Debs_place (6753) | 5 months ago | We have stayed in Orlando and have been both on and off site. I highly recommend on-site. WE went about 2 years ago and I think we paid about $70 a night at the All-star resort.
The last time we saved about 15 a night on the room, but we spent more time commuting and driving up and down International Drive I think it was.
Call up Disney and watch ....they frequently run specials... last year, if you bought 4 days you got 3 free.
And if you make reservations with them, ask them if you are eligible for any specials that may come up.
Also, if you stay on site consider the dining plan...it sounded expensive when we did it but it was worth every dime. We ate at 4 star restaurants ...without it..we would have done some 'cheaper places' for almost the same amount of money.

| 6. Amarrra (74) | 4 months ago | Well, last time I went to Disney I stayed at the contemporary resort, it's about $280 a night...but the time before that, I stayed at the pop century, that's only about $100 a night...next time, which will be in about six months, I'm staying at the wilderness lodge and it's $240 a night. The All Stars & Pop century are the cheapest hotels, but honestly, they aren't that great. Disney has many hotels, choose wisley.(:

Shar19 (2794) | 4 months ago | I have heard from some friends who stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. They loved it. I guess it's true what they say "you get what you pay for". Thanks for sharing your experience.
